often do I need to see a Podiatrist? Treat your feet as you do your teeth, a yearly check up is healthy, but if you have pain then seek treatment. A frightening number of people think foot pain is normal! It isnt!! If your feet hurt, seek advice. |

I get treatment on the National Health? Yes, if you fall into the priority groups for example being of pensionable age or perhaps having a diabetic foot problem. Ask your GP for the local criteria. |

Julie Day, qualified from the London Foot Hospital in 1985 and established this practice in 1987. Julie carries out all routine care and specialises in nail surgery for ingrown toe nails. She is also a qualified Podiatric Acupuncturist. She taught at the London Foot Hospital until it's closure in December 2004 and is the Podiatrist for the Royal Marsden Hospital. | |

Sean Lyons M.Ch.S qualified from the University of Brighton's Leaf hospital, Eastbourne, in 1998. Having immediately started work in NHS clinics Sean specialised in problems related to the Diabetic foot culminating in becoming lead podiatrist within an inner London Teaching Hospital. Having completed a Warwick University diploma in diabetes care Sean now combines work within NHS clinics and private practice. Sean carries out all routine foot treatments that often present in a Podiatry clinic. | |

Nick Warminger BSc (Hons) MChS SRCh, obtained his degree in Podiatric Medicine from University College London and the London Foot Hospital and has worked in both the NHS and private practice since qualifying. Nick undertakes all aspects of routine care including nail surgery but has a keen interest in how the structure of the foot affects foot function and can lead to injury /pain to the lower limb (Biomechanics and sports injuries). | |
